About the Role

The Motion Designer/Editor brings stories to life through animation, video, and dynamic visual content. This role sits at the intersection of design and storytelling—crafting motion graphics, editing brand videos, and creating content that moves audiences across digital and social platforms. Working closely with the creative and strategy teams, the Motion Designer/Editor helps translate brand concepts into compelling visual narratives that elevate client work.

What You’ll Do

Concept, design, and animate motion graphics for brand campaigns, digital ads, social content, and presentations.

Edit short- and long-form video content, including promotional reels, interviews, case studies, and branded storytelling.

Collaborate with art directors, copywriters, and strategists to ensure motion assets align with brand tone and campaign objectives.

Manage post-production workflows including color correction, sound design, and basic compositing.

Maintain an organized project pipeline and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Adapt and optimize motion content for multiple platforms and aspect ratios.

Stay current with design trends, animation techniques, and emerging media formats.

Preferred Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

3–5 years of professional experience in motion design, animation, or video editing within an agency or creative studio setting.

Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and related Creative Cloud tools.

Strong understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy in motion.

Demonstrated experience creating motion assets that fit within brand systems and style guides.

Ability to handle all stages of motion and video production—from concept through delivery.

Strong attention to detail and a passion for visual storytelling.

Bonus Points

Experience with 3D animation tools (Cinema 4D, Blender) or plugins like Element 3D.

Basic sound design and audio mixing skills.

Knowledge of color grading tools and workflows (DaVinci Resolve or similar).

Familiarity with social media content formats, especially for
platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Illustration or design background for creating original motion assets.

Comfort collaborating across creative, strategy, and digital teams.
