About the Role
As a Digital Strategist, you’ll serve as the bridge between client and creative teams—developing integrated digital strategies that connect brand goals with measurable outcomes. You’ll uncover audience insights, identify growth opportunities, and shape the roadmap for campaigns, content, and digital experiences that drive engagement and results.
The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative—someone who can use data to guide decisions and storytelling to bring ideas to life.
Your expertise will span digital advertising, content strategy, SEO, email marketing, social media, and even podcasting.
What You’ll Do
Develop and lead multi-channel digital strategies that align with client business goals and brand positioning.
Conduct audience, market, and competitive research to uncover insights and opportunities.
Collaborate with the creative team to shape campaign concepts, content strategies, and digital experiences.
Define KPIs and success metrics; oversee tracking, analytics, and performance reporting.
Present strategies and insights to clients in a clear, compelling way.
Stay current on emerging platforms, tools, and digital best practices.
Partner with account and project managers to ensure strategies are executed effectively and on schedule.
Evaluate campaign performance and continuously optimize strategies based on data-driven insights.
Help define Highland’s scope of services and go-to-market strategy in the digital space.
Preferred Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
4–6 years of experience in digital strategy, marketing strategy, or related roles within an agency or brand environment.
Strong understanding of digital ecosystems—web, social, email, SEO, and paid media.
Proficiency with analytics and performance tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, SEMrush).
Proven ability to translate business goals into actionable digital plans.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
A collaborative mindset and comfort working across strategy, creative, and technical teams.
Balance of creative thinking and performance-driven decision making.
Bonus Points
Experience developing content or social strategies for lifestyle, consumer, or B2B brands.
Familiarity with UX principles and web experience planning.
Working knowledge of SEO, PPC, and CRM strategy.
Proficiency with data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, etc.).
