As an Account Executive, your job is to grow our client’s investment in HG. No cold calling for you: you cultivate deep, authentic relationships with existing clients.
A thoughtful, careful listener, you are a trusted partner that ensures HG marketing supports client needs. When clients talk with you, they feel empowered and confident we’ll meet their lofty business goals.
A brand strategist in action, you bring your knowledge and expertise to solve marketing challenges in fresh, creative ways.
An empathetic leader, you oversee Project Managers as they move tactics through our creative process, managing timelines and budgets.
So what does that look like, more specifically?
Account Development – Plan and implement a strategy to build the HG share of wallet for each of your assigned clients.
Relationship Management – Strategic client counsel for all projects on assigned accounts. Own and build relationships to become an essential, trusted partner in the client’s business. Relationships include project contacts and rooting deeper to connect with leadership at all levels of business.
Brand Strategy – You lead defining brand attributes, key messages and strategy for client brands. Major creative briefs are your love letters.
Project Management – You mentor a team of PMs on marketing process, tactics and providing amazing client service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Successful history in account development
- Bachelor's or advanced degree
- 5+ years experience
- Strong oral and written communication
- Agency experience a plus, but not necessary
- Comfortable using technology to advance the agency needs
- Collaborative, goal-oriented, self-starter
- Desire to be curious, awesome and essential
